In Dezember 2025, After I shot a big campaign in Cape Town I extended my trip and realized a personal shooting project - a city defined by contrasts, where untamed landscapes collide with raw urban structures. Towering mountains, open horizons, concrete surfaces, and industrial textures coexist within minutes of each other, creating a unique visual tension. Within this setting, A Motocross Bike became the natural focal point of the series: machines that reflect power, precision, and an unapologetic attitude, perfectly positioned between nature and city.

The project explores the dialogue between landscape and urban environment — speed against stillness, engineered mechanics against organic terrain — using the bikes as a visual bridge between both worlds.

At the heart of it all was Petra Raubenheimer from Boss Models. She was the perfect fit — confident, grounded, and totally in tune with the energy of the bikes. She brought a natural strength that made every shot feel alive.

Styling set the tone, and working with Mandy Nash was a no-brainer. She nailed the mix of grit and polish, letting the motocross vibe feel bold but still intentional.

The shoot was all about the team. Geran Raath and Aidan Murgatroyd, both based in Cape Town, had us covered on lighting and locations — their local know-how made a huge difference. Alexander Kibble, second photographer and good friend , was with me from the start; we mapped out the whole concept together. Richard Wilkinson wrapped it up with subtle, sharp hair and makeup that finished the look perfectly.

From idea to final frame, the whole project came together in just a week — fast, focused, and full of energy. The result? A visual story of speed, attitude, and craft, where rider and machine meet, all fueled by the unmistakable vibe of Cape Town.
